The Dreaming Crow is a new store, located at 14 E. Church St, Adams, NY; that is
owned and operated by Denessa “Dreamweaver” Statler and Jim “Silvercrow”
Wilson.
Last year, around Halloween (Samhain (pronounced “Sow-wen”)) Denessa and Jim
hosted their first Psychic Fair at the American Legion in Pulaski NY. They had such
a good turnout and realized that there wasn’t much here in the North Country that
caters to the Holistic/Spiritual Community. There are a couple of Psychic Fairs, 2 in
Watertown, one in Clayton, and now one in Pulaski per year. But not many stores
that are available without the long drive.It seemed to Denessa and Jim, that after a
number of years “on the road”, working different Festivals, Psychic Fairs and Pow
Wows that it was time for them to open their own shop.
The Dreaming Crow opened their doors on March 9, 2013. And will be holding its
Grand Opening on April 6 and 7, 2013. In their store they offer many things
including Massage, Psychic Readings, hand crafted items featuring Ceramics by
award winning artist “Crazy” James Statler & The Crazy James Family Studio in
Brooksville FL; gemstone trees and pendants by Subi’s Spirit from Ithaca NY;
jewelry, pendulums and others by Hathaway’s Elemental Light from Fulton NY;
leather work (bags, books and pouches) by “Silver Willow” Star Douglas from
Middleville NY; and of course artwork, dreamcatchers, herbs, incense, Tarot Decks
and other metaphysical supplies brought to you by The Dreaming Crow.
The store also offers monthly Drum Circle & Women’s Full Moon Ceremony,
weekly Reiki Share, and other workshops/events, most of which are as a donation
only experience.
Denessa “Dreamweaver” Statler is an exquisite artist, as you will see when you
look at her paintings. She focuses on the Fantasy Realm of art. Her love of art and
extensive experience in Psychic Readings came together a couple of years ago in
the form of Spirit Art. Denessa is a Medium (which means she can commune with
spirits or energy from the other side of the veil) and during a reading with her, you
will gain a better understanding of your life path through messages which could be
from your higher self, loved ones or Spirit Guides. The Art part of the reading
comes through Denessa as the strongest energy that is coming through. Whether
it is a loved one, scenery or what you really look like, every person that has had a
reading with Denessa has left with a smile in their heart.
Jim “Silvercrow” Wilson is a NYS Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage
Therapist. Jim is also a Certified Reiki Master, Teacher, Shamanic Healer and
Level 3 Qi-Gong Practitioner. During a session all of these gifts are used to help
aid in the healing of the body, mind and spirit. Jim approaches each client with
professionalism and compassion. He has deeper understanding as to core
problems and helps resolve these issues to the comfort level of each individual. It
is not unusual that messages come through during sessions, pertaining to past,
perhaps past lives, present, and connection to our higher selves. For that Jim’s
path is unique and sessions have great long lasting benefits to any who seek him
out as a healer.
